Rachel Sharman

Rachel is a professional artist and holds a bachelors degree in Fine Art.  She has a great deal of expertise in both traditional and contemporary arts and over ten years experience in teaching art, ceramics, textiles and photography.  She has taught at all levels including GCSE and A-Level.  Prior to moving into teaching, she worked as Art Director within several London advertising agencies.

Rachel believes in the importance of nurturing an artist’s practical skills as well as the importance of developing an interest in the history of art with her students.  She teaches all of painting (acrylic, ink, oil, and watercolour), drawing, printmaking, collage, sculpture, sketchbook work and portfolio building.
